In honor of Earth Day, April 22, we’re reflecting on a few different projects at Telamco that support the environment. While, we always work to be efficient and environment friendly in our processes. On Earth Day its nice to take a step back and reflect on a few special stories.

Helping Trees Grow

One common thing people do on Earth Day is plant a tree. That made us think about an important relationship that we have with a company called Plantra®. Telamco produces the Plantra® Water-Saver™ Weed Mats. These mats prevent weeds from growing around trees, hold moisture in the ground to support growth, moderate soil temperature and can be used to reflect diffused light to help ripen fruit. These mats are often used on large tree farms, orchards and other areas where many trees may be planted at once.

Refurbishing Components Extends Product Lifespan

It is not uncommon for companies to get to a point that they no longer offer replacement parts or support certain projects.
